In a market saturated with affiliate recommendations and sponsored content, Novelle Sleep Wellness holds itself to a different standard. Every product we recommend must earn our approval, and that approval is never for sale.

Six Criteria.
No Exceptions.
Every Novelle-approved product must meet all six of these criteria. A product that excels in five but fails in one does not earn our approval.
Zero Harmful Off-Gassing
Every product we recommend must be free of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), formaldehyde, flame retardants, and synthetic chemical finishes that off-gas into your sleep environment. We prioritize products with GREENGUARD Gold, OEKO-TEX, GOTS, or GOLS certification, standards that test for 1,000+ potentially harmful substances.
Science-Backed Efficacy
We do not recommend products based on marketing claims. Every Novelle-approved product must have either peer-reviewed clinical evidence supporting its category, independent third-party testing data, or a clear, well-understood mechanism of action grounded in established science.
No Plastic Off-Gassing
Plastic housings, synthetic foams, and petroleum-based materials off-gas their own chemicals, often into the very air they're supposed to be cleaning or the surfaces they're supposed to be improving. We strongly prefer products with metal, natural fiber, or certified-safe material construction.
Genuinely Superior Performance
We compare products rigorously within their category. A Novelle-approved air purifier must outperform alternatives in independent testing. A Novelle-approved mattress must demonstrate superior off-gassing scores. We don't recommend something simply because it has a good affiliate commission.
Aligned with Whole-Body Wellness
Novelle Sleep Wellness is built on the principle that sleep should improve every dimension of your health, not just one. Products we approve must contribute to at least one of our Six Pillars without creating trade-offs that harm another. We reject products that solve one problem while creating another.
Ethical Manufacturing
We consider the full lifecycle of products we recommend. This includes manufacturing practices, supply chain transparency, and environmental impact. We prefer brands that are B-Corp certified, use sustainable sourcing, and have clear accountability for their production processes.
